17 Days And Counting

The date and time was made official today for the cesarean that will bring child number four into our family. September 9 is a little earlier than expected but the doctor doesn't want to risk my wife going into labor especially since she's been having contractions. The concern is the scar tissue from having 3 previous cesareans possibly rupturing.

We thankful and Blessed that God has entrusted us to raise four children. I never thought I would have four children. Everyday that I wake up to them saying, "Good morning Daddy", it brings a joy to my heart that only the fill. When I walk in the door from a long day at work it's priceless to get greeted at the door by three kids and a puppy now. Four kids and a puppy means I'll just have to embrace myself a little more for impact.

Hopefully the baby waits until the scheduled date and if not then we just pray that the baby is healthy.

That Place Of Escape

Do you ever have one if those days where you just think about that place you want to escape to? Monday was definitely one of those days for me. I took this picture when I lived in Texas. Texas holds a special place in my heart and this picture reminds me of that. I see it and it brings brings me to this calm and quiet country road. I drove this road so many times and always slowed down when I came to this area. I know there will be a day when I will visit this exact place again and I can't wait.

My Baby Girl Is 3 Years Old Today

Sick and Tired

My poor son (Lil Manny) has been battling an ear infection since the 4th of July weekend. He finished his first antibiotic. After going to the doctor again he now has a stronger antibiotic. Lil Manny hasn't been sleeping well at night or during naps but when daddy got home he passed out. We layed on the couch and he just snored away. I'm still fighting a sinus infection with antibiotics too but I definitely don't feel as bad as Lil Manny looks. We'll just pray that he makes a speedy recovery.
